Oops. how did March get here so fast?!
With work and school, I don't think I'll get to posting the gallery for a few more days.
Maybe that will enable more of you to work on your bag, because I have had VERY few entries.
I get lots of readers to this blog, but few participants.
Amy gets more than 20 people to participate in her apron challenges,
what am I doing wrong?
Are you on twitter? Advertising more, such as on your other blog perhaps. Do you have a facebook account etc. Other than that I am not sure. My first giveaway I had 1 entry, my second shot up to 55 and since then it has been under 20. There seems to be no way of knowing with this. Comment on other people's blogs then you may get your link added to other blogs and gain more traffic and then more entrants that way.

ReplyDeleteThey have a purses, bags and wallets forum!
I agree with the other two - post everywhere. Twitter seems to have brought me some readers. Project Wonderful lets you take out inexpensive advertising too - sometimes it can even be free.
ReplyDeleteI really did plan on participating in this challenge, but we moved and I couldn't find the time to sew this month.
I didn't know about this blog. Now I know :-) I will advertise it in my blog.
ReplyDeleteI learned about the apron thingy through a list of alongs and swaps, which is closed now, so advertising certainly helps.
Also, you could visit people who make bags, for example at Flickr, and leave a note telling them they might want to join the challenge. I know I would be interested. It's a good challenge and there's certainly enough people around who make bags, so there's no reason why it wouldn't work.
One thing, the black background is very stylish, but makes the blog look closed and dark... I feel a bit claustrophobic. It might help to change it white.
Hugs, and good luck :-)
